A Man like You!

a joint project between the Jüdische Museum Frankfurt & Oper Frankfurt

Hans Wilhelm Steinberg was a visionary Kapellmeister in Frankfurt in the 1920s, and pioneer of contemporary music until he was fired and forced into exile. These evening commemorates a great conductor caught between two worlds who, despite being thrown out and starting a new life in the US, never lost artistic integrity or his links to Frankfurt.
