Dr. Ulrike Kienzle
Dr. Ulrike Kienzel is works a private professor and professor for literature and musicology at the Goethe University in Frankfurt. She's also a freelance author and researcher who curates exhibitions. She researches into all kinds of ways of performing opera and life in music from Goethe's time to the present day. She's put on exhibitions for the Deutsche Romantik-Museum and holds »Kienzle<#s Classis - seminars for people who want to know more« at the Alte Oper, works for the Frankfurt Museums Society and gives concerts in which she speaks with with famous artists. Her 2 volumn »Musikstadt Frankfurt. Facets from 2000 years of Frankfurt Music History« (commissioned by Frankfurt's Bürgerstiftung) is being printed. She's held many talks about the fate of Jewish musicians from Frankfurt and is writing a book about Hans Wilhelm Steinberg, to mark 50 Years since this great conductor's death in 2028.
