The conductor and pianist Lukas Rommelspacher has been working as a soloists' coach at Oper Frankfurt since 2018/19. He conducted the Frankfurt Opern und Museumsorchester for the first time in March 2021, with Camille Saint-Saëns' Carnival of the Animals, the year he conducted Carmen with the National Youth Orchestra an Weikersheim Castle Festival. He made his debut at the Stadttheater in Gießen in March 2022 and conducted the Young Marburg Philharmonie from 2014 - 2018. Other engagements have included appearances with Concerto armonico in Freiburg, the Wetzlar Youth Symphony Orchestra, Hessen Youth Philharmonic, the Rheinland Orchester Academie in Mainz and the Bayreuth Young Artists Festival. Lukas Rommelspacher is artistic director of the Frankfurt Clara Schumann Orchester, which he founded in 2019. He has appeared as a soloist on tours with various ensembles in France, Finland, Poland and Switzerland. He studied with Axel Gremmelspacher at the HfMDK in Frankfurt, Eric Le Sage at the University for Music in Freiburg, Uwe Sandner (conducting) and Eugen Wangler (coaching).
