Winning the 2018 Queen Elizabeth Competition in Brussels put German baritone Samuel Hasselhorn firmly on the map as an international Lieder and operatic singer. Highlights during the 2022/23 season included Conte Almaviva (Le nozze di Figaro), Ford (Falstaff) and Dandini (La Cenerentola) at the Staatstheater in Nürnberg, where he is a member of the ensemble. Many concerts and recitals have taken him to places including Hannover, Brussels, Paris, Tallinn, Stuttgart, Barcelona, Budapest, Aix-en-Provence, Cambridge und Tokyo. With a bulging diary 33 year old Samuel Hasselhorn is one of the most sought-after recitalists in Europe. This young baritone has also conquered leading operas houses in Europe, including the Vienna State Opera, where he was a member of the ensemble for two years, the Staatsoper Berlin and La Scala.
