Sometimes friends become colleagues and vice versa ... Our new GMD Thomas Guggeis, soprano Magdalena Hinterdobler and tenor Magnus Dietrich all joined the company this season. Magdalena and Thomas have known each other since they were children and Magnus got to know Thomas (a member of the opera studio and Berlin Staatskapellmeister) at the Staatsoper in Berlin.
And they all studied at the University for Music and Theater in Munich - »Italy's northernmost city«. Come and enjoy hearing them performing Hugo Wolfs Italienisches Liederbuch - on an imaginary journey to the land where lemontrees grow!
