Georg Zeppenfeld (bass) & Gerold Huber (piano)

Recital

One of the world’s great basses, the Semperoper in Berlin, his former home house, made him a Kammersänger in 2015. He enjoys international success in German and Italian roles and symphonic repertoire. It’s not unusual for Georg Zeppenfeld to be heard singing four or five roles during one Bayreuth festival, such as Hunding, Daland, King Marke, Gurnemanz, Landgraf Hermann, Heinrich der Vogler or Veit Pogner, a role he jumped in to sing at Oper Frankfurt when making his house debut in 2022. High time to bring this much sought-after artist back to the Main – this time in recital, with the wonderful Gerold Huber. Don’t miss the chance of hearing what promises to be a special recital, with Lieder by Schubert, Brahms and Wolf.
