Louise Alder, a former member of the Ensemble at Oper Frankfurt, is back to give her third recital, once again with Joseph Middleton, with whom she has made music for many years, singing Wolf's Italian Liederbuch with the Swiss tenor Mauro Peter, long sought-after by leading concert halls and opera houses around the world. During her time in Frankfurt, from 2014 - 2019, which she looks back as the ideal springboard for her international career, roles included Sophie (Der Rosenkavalier), Musetta (La bohème), Atalanta (Xerxes), Cleopatra (Giulio Cesare in Egitto) and the title role in a new Cunning Little Vixen. Guest engagements have taken her to places including the Vienna State Opera, Theater an der Wien, Zurich Opera, Covent Garden, the Bayerische Staatsoper in Munich and Glyndebourne.
