The soprano Eva Resch's accomplished interpretation of contemporary music led to invitations to the Teatro de Bellas Artes, the Cervantino Festival in Guanajuato, Mexico and the Villa Massimo in Rome. She has also appeared at venues including the national theatres in Warsaw and Weimar, Oper Bonn, Malmö Opera, at the Munich Biennale, Vienna Festwochen and Berlin festivals. Eva Resch took part in world premieres of works by composers including Wolfgang Rihm, Pascal Dusapin, Thomas Adès, Johannes Maria Staud, Vladimir Tarnopolski, Philipp Maintz, Gordon Kampe and Anno Schreier. She has performed Benedict Mason's Chaplin Operas with the Ensemble Modern before, at the Tchaikovsky Theatre in Perm (Russia), the Philharmonie in Essen, the Cité de la Musique/at the Festival d’Automne in Paris, with Collegium Novum in Zurich's Tonhalle and, this season, while making her debut with the Israel Contemporary Players in Tel Aviv. Her first album: Being Beauteous (Genuin) of Lieder by Debussy and Britten, was nominated for a German Recording Critics' prize and Insights (Genuin), a complete recording of Arnold Schönberg's string quartets with the Asasello Quartet won many awards and prizes. This was followed in May 2019 by Eden (Genuin) with the pianist Eric Schneider: Schönberg's Buch der hängenden Gärten / Book of Hanging Gardens  and works by Viktor Ullmann, Anton Webern and Franz Schreker, which she also performed in recital at places including the Arnold Schönberg Center in Vienna. This recording was also nominated for a German Recording Critics' prize and led to her being nominated for Opus Classic 2020 »Female Singer of the Year«. In 2021/22 she was invited by the Warsaw Autumn / German Musikrat to perform Morton Feldman's Voice and Instruments 1 at the Fryderyk Chopin University as part of a European Workshop for Contemporary Music.
