The Frankfurt born author Sonja Rudorf was awarded the Literary Colloquium Berlin's renowned studio scholarship in 1997. Her first novel, Die zweite Haut / Second Skin, was published in 2000 and followed by several more, including her latest release: Alleingang / Solo Run (2016). Her next novel, Stromaufwärts / Upstream, will be published in July 2019. Sonja Rudorf works as a professor and lecturer in creative writing. She runs courses and oversees projects at the Frankfurt Volkshochschule, in schools and libraries. In 2015 she wrote and published a book in support of a course in ethics. She has almost completed her training as a poetry and literary therapist.
