Hänsel and Gretel live a simply life in a little house on the edge of a wood. A neighbour gave them some milk, reason enough to make them sing and dance because tonight there'll be rice pudding for supper. Their mother goes crazy when she gets home because the children haven't done their chores, and then the milk jug gets broken ... she's so angry she sends the children off to the spooky enchanted woods ...
