The young Kazakhstanian soprano Madina Abildina gained her bachelors at the Kurmangazy National Conservatoire in Almaty and is working for her masters with Ursula Targler-Sell at the University for Music & the Performing Arts in Frankfurt. She won prizes at many international competitions, including the 10th Elena Obraztsova International Competition in St. Petersburg, the Bibigul Tulegenova International Competition in Almaty, the first Rahima Zhubaturova International Competiton in Turkestan and the 2023 Carl-Orff Center International Competition in Munich. She made her debut on stage at the HfMDK in Frankfurt in February 2024, singing Adele in Die Fledermaus. Her impressive artistic development was made evident during appearances with renowned orchestras including Kazakstan's State Symphony Orchestra at places including the Shostakovitch Philharmonie in St. Petersburg. Madina Abildina appears regularly in concert and opera at the Theatre for Opera and Ballet in Bishkek (Kyrgyzstan).
