Susanne Buchenberger

The actress Susanne Buchenberger is appearing at Oper Frankfurt for the first time. She was a member of the ensemble at Schauspielfrankfurt until 2009, where she returned in 2014 as a guest to perform Eunice in Endstation Sehnsucht/A Streetcar Named Desire. She was also under contract to the Schauspiel in Leipzig from 1996 – 2001. Guest engagements in recent seasons have taken her to Munich, Berlin and Heidelberg, and she is currently performing in the home town, Karlsruhe. Directors with whom Susanne Buchenberger has worked have included Armin Petras, Wolfgang Engel, Anselm Weber, Alvis Hermanis, Michael Thalheimer and Kay Voges.
