Florian Mania was born in Darmstadt in 1984. After studying theatre and film at the Johannes Gutenberg University in Mainz he trained as an actor at the University for Music and the Performing Arts in Frankfurt, graduating in 2012. Whilst still a student he appeared at venues including Schauspiel Frankfurt, the Frankfurt LAB and the Heidelberg Schloss (castle) Festival. He is also much sought-after for radio plays and film. He was a member of the ensemble in Heidelberg from 2011 - 2016. He has been living in Frankfurt as a freelance actor since 2016. He recently performed at places including the Brecht Festival Augsburg, the Staatstheater in Darmstadt, Schauspiel Frankfurt, the Fritz-Rémond-Theater and Studio Naxos. Florian Mania is a member of the Eleganz aus Reflex collective.
