Ralf Drexler, born in Saarland in 1964, graduated from the Schauspielakademie in Zürich. He then spent time under contract to the Youth Theater in Göttingen, Landestheater Tübingen, Theater Gessnerallee Zürich, Schauspiel Hannover, Theater Oberhausen, Theater Bonn and the Deutsche Schauspielhaus in Hamburg. He took part in Kay Voges 2015 production of A Streetcar named Desire at Schauspiel Frankfurt. He works as a freelance actor for radio plays and features on WDR, and appears often in productions on film and in television.
