Alexandra Ruszó studied in Budapest at places including the Liszt Ferenc Academy of Music. She has appeared with orchestras including the Pannon Philharmonic Orchestra, the MÁV Symphony, Hungarian Radio Orchestra, Concert Budapest, the National Philharmonic Orchestra and Hungarian State Opera House Orchestra. Operatic engagements have taken her to the Pécs National Theater (Annius in Mozart's Clemenza di Tito, Madama Rose in Donizetti's Il Campanello, Lola in Mascagni's Cavalleria Rusticana and Marika in Béla Faragós A glass of water), the Erkel Theater and Thalia Theater (Carolina in Henze's Elegy for young lovers).  Awards include the 2013 Gundel Art Prize, the 2014 and 2015 Ari Santeri Kupsus Finnish Scholarships and 2nd Prize at the 2016 Erzsébet Házy International Singing Competition.
