The pianist Juliane Ruf works regularly with Hanna-Elisabeth Müller, most recently at La Scala Milan and the Wigmore Hall in London, and their first recording - Traumgekrönt / Crowned with Dreams (belvedere) - was released in 2017. She and the baritone Michael Nagy were awarded first prize at the Hugo Wolf Academy in Stuttgart's international Lieder competition. She appears in concert internationally, most recently at the
 Ruhr Piano Festival, De Singel in Antwerp, the Wigmore Hall in London, Gasteig in Munich, the »Freunde des Liedes« series in Zurich, the Heidelberg Spring Festival and on radio and television with the NDR and SWR.

Juliane Ruf studied at Mannheim University with Paul Dan and Ulrich Eisenlohr before specialising in Lieder accompaniment with Irwin Gage in Saarbrücken. She also took part in masterclasses held by Charles Spencer, Graham Johnson, Rudolf Piernay and Helmut Deutsch. She has won many prizes, including the Unnaer Wirtschaft's Lieder prize, the Schleswig-Holstein Cultural Ministry's first North German Lieder prize, first prize at the University Competition, won prizes for being the best accompanist at the Joseph Suder Lieder competition in Nürnberg, Paula Salomon Lindberg Lieder competition in Berlin and Concours International Lili et Nadia Boulanger in Paris and was awarded the 2003 Bruno Frey Prize by Baden-Württemberg's Landes Academy.
