Pablo Martínez studied with Ryland Davies, Rosa Dominguez and Milagros Poblador at the Escuela Superior Reina Sofía and Maria Teresa Uribe and Eduard Giménez at the Conservatori del Liceu de Barcelona. He also gained invaluable experience taking part in masterclasses held by Teresa Berganza, Javier Camarena, Celso Albelo, Giulio Zappa and Juan Diego Flórez. Current and future work includes Ramiro in La Cenerentola at the Volksoper in Vienna and Cologne Opera, Tonio in La Fille du Régiment at the Regio Torino, Almaviva in Il barbiere di Siviglia in the Auditorio de Zaragoza and Teatro de Cervantes de Malaga, Oronte at the Stadttheater in Klagenfurt, Ramiro and Ernesto in Latvia's National Theatre and Ferrando in Così fan tutte at the Staatstheater in Wiesbaden. He sang in Handel's Messiah with the Orquestra Sinfónica de Colombia under Baldur Brönnimann in 2013 and at the Teatro Colón de Bogotá in 2018, and in Mozart's Requiem in posthumous celebration of the life of Nobel Prize winner Gabriel García Márquez. Now he's making his debut at Oper Frankfurt singing Ernesto in a new Don Pasquale, a role he sang while a member of theTenerife Opera Studio 2016 in the Adán Martínez Hall. He also took part in a production of El retablo del Maese Pedro at the Teatro Regio di Parma. He sang his first Fentons in Verdi's Falstaff at the Teatro Mayor Julio Mario Santo Domingo in 2017, with artists including Raul Giménez and Valeriano Lanchas,  Count Almaviva in Il barbiere di Seviglia with Opera Krakowska and for Ópera de Colombia (2018) and Ferrando at Opera Na Zamku in Poland. Martínez won 2nd prize at the 2018 Ciudad de Logroño singing competition in Spain and reached the finals of the 2019, 38th, International Hans Gabor Belvedere singing competition.
