»Salome«

Aged between 15 & 21? Come and see a dress rehearsal, and maybe meet people involved in it, and see things which are normally kept behind locked doors.

Salome's fascinated by, then falls in love with Jochanaan (John the Baptist), a prisoner in her step-father Herodes' palace. Jochanaan does not reciprocate Salome's feelings ... Herodes begs Salome to dance for him, promising her anything she wants if she will. She dances, and horrifies Herodes by demanding Jochanaan's head, on a silver dish.

Free if you have a Junge OpernCard  (they cost €10).
