Tenor Haesu Kim, who sings a Servant in this revival of Capriccio at Oper Frankfurt, where he sang Don Ramiro (2018) in La Cenerentola and Rodolfo (2019) in La Bohème in our Opera for Children programme, studied at Chung Ang University from 2010 - 2016 where he sang Nemorino in L’elisir d’amore in 2014 and the Duke in Rigoletto a year later. He studied in Prof. Ursula Targler-Sell's class at the University for Music and the Performing Arts in Frankfurt from 2017 - 2020. His repertoire centres on music by Mozart, Rossini, Verdi and Donizetti. He  joined the University for Music in Mainz in 2020 to further his studies with Prof. Christoph Hans Bergmann. He is a member of the Opera Studio at the Nationaltheater in Mannheim where roles last season included Bastien in Bastien und Bastienne, Beobachter (spectator) in Keine Stille außer der des Windes / No stillness apart from the Wind's  and 4th Squire in Parsifal.
