Slovakian born Judita Nagyová built up a broad repertoire since joining the ensemble at Oper Frankfurt in 2014/15, including Martha (Iolanta), Wellgunde (Das Rheingold), Rossweiße (Die Walküre), Hannah (Weinberg's The (female) Passenger), Anna (Les Troyens), Geneviève (Pelléas et Mélisande), Cherubino (Le nozze di Figaro), Pippo (The Thieving Magpie), Old Woman / Old Lady (Martinů's Julietta - availalble on CD - OehmsClassics), Mercédès (Carmen), Kristina (The Makropoulos Case) and Tisbe (La Cenerentola).  During the 2024/25 season you can hear her as a Lady-in-waiting, Souffrance and a Flowermaiden in new productions of Henze's Prince of Homburg, Magnard's Guercœur and Wagner's Parsifal and Marcellina in Le nozze di Figaro.  She also took part in the world premiere of Arnulf Herrmann's Der Mieter / The Tenant and sang Herodias' Page in Salome, a Stable Girl in Königskinder and Maddalena in Rigoletto. She returned to the stage last May after having a baby, to sing 1st Maid in the first revival of our new production of Elektra. Judita Nagyová has appeared at the Festwochen in Vienna, the Aalto-Musiktheater Essen, Teatro La Fenice in Venice, Concertgebouw in Amsterdam and the Wexford Festival, sang Mercédès two summers' running at the Bregenz Festival and Olga in Eugene Onegin at the Nationaltheater in Mannheim. She enjoyed great success at the Tirol Summer Festival in Erl two years running,  as Ježibaba in Rusalka and Erda (role debut) in a new Das Rheingold. She studied in Bratislava and began her career at the Deutsche Oper am Rhein's Opera Studio before joining the ensemble at the Staatstheater in Nürnberg.
