Patrizia Batik was born in Vienna where she studied with Herbert Müller and Jennifer Stumm, and futhered her passion for playing early music with Ulrike Engel. She was a member of the Schleswig-Holstein Festival Orchestra in 2022, the same year she was granted a scholarship by the Paul-Hindemith Orchester Akademie in Frankfurt. She joins the Frankfurt Opern and Museumsorchester for the 2024/25 season. She also plays with other ensembles, including Concentus Musicus in Vienna, and enjoys playing all kinds of chamber music: she’s a member and co-founder of the chamber music platform Klangperipherie and the inn.wien ensemble.
