Orchestra of the Year 2025

Critics from the specialist magazine Opernwelt have voted the Frankfurt Oper and Museumsorchester, the Bayerische Staatsorchester and Meiningen Hofkapelle »Orchestras of the Year«. Opernwelt adding that Frankfurt's music director Thomas Guggeis inspired the orchestra to perform at its best. These awards are further evidence of how widely and highly Frankfurt Opera is respected. It's the sixth time the orchestra has received this award since 1995.

AND ensemble member Anna Nekhames was voted »Rising Star of the Year« for her wonderful performances of, amongst others, Reimann's Melusine im Bockenheimer Depot.
