Steffie Sehling is back to repeat her compelling performance of Grete as an older woman in this fantastic production of Schreker’s Der ferne Klang / The Elusive Sound. She has been working as an extra for the Städtischen Bühnen since 2007, appearing regularly on stage in plays and operas, including Urs Troller’s production of Medea and Michael Thalheimer’s Ödipus / Antigone in which she also spoke. A professional physical psychotherapist she also performed with Frankfurt’s oldest street theatre group »baufirma meissel & co.« in the early 1970s.
