The German baritone Jonas Müller joins the Opera Studio at Oper Frankfurt in the 2025/26 season, during which you can hear him making his house debut singing Yakusidé in Madama Butterfly.  He sang the title role in J. S. Kusser' opera Adonis  at »Winter in Schwetzingen« 2024 under Jörg Halubeck's direction and  Almaviva in Le nozze di Figaro for Munich Chamber Opera in 2022 in the Cuvilliés Theater, the same year he sang Lubano in Der Stein der Weisen with the Munich Hofkapelle. He studied at the University for Music in Würzburg's Pre-College from 2017 - 2019 before gaining his Bachelor of Music and Master Konzertgesang at the HMT in Munich in 2023. He also gained invaluable inspiration and experience taking part in masterclasses held by Brigitte Fassbaender, Thomas Hampson, Christoph Prégardien and Ian Bostridge. He attended Lieder classes held by Prof. Christian Gerhaher from 2022 - 2024 and won the 2025 Deutsche Wirtschaft music prize, a tour resulting from this took him to the Beethovenfest in Bonn, the Mecklenburg-Vorpommern, Rheingau, Ludwigsburg Castle, Heidelberg Spring and Lucerne festivals. He and his pianist Anna Gebhardt won a prize at the 2024 Hugo Wolf Akademie's International Lieder Competition. Much sought-after for concert work, he has appeared with the Gewandhaus Orchester, the WDR Radio Orchestra and Klangverwaltung in Munich, working with conductors including Frieder Bernius, Christoph Poppen, Jos van Immerseel, Hans-Christoph Rademann, Hansjörg Albrecht, Roberto González-Monjas and Thomaskantor Andreas Reize. He has been receiving scholarships from »Yehudi Menuhin Live Music Now München e.V.« and the »Fritz-Wunderlich-Gesellschaft e.V.« since 2021.
