Daniela Zib joins the Opera Studio in 2025/26, making her house debut as Giuturna / Venere in a new production, and first performances in Frankfurt, of Agostino Steffani's Amor vien dal destino. This American / Slovakian soprano studied in Freiburg, at the University for Music and medicine at the Albert Ludwig University. She gained early stage experience singing Despina in a university production of Così fan tutte. You can hear her in the summer of 2025 singing Aminta in Mozart's ll re pastore at Schloss (castle) Rheinsberg's chamber opera. Her repertoire includes Susanna (Le nozze di Figaro), Melisande (Pelléas et Mélisande) and Gretel (Hänsel und Gretel). She won prizes at the Concours Lyrique International »Bell‘Arte«, Schloss Rheinsberg's International Singing Competition and reached the finals of the »Neue Stimmen« competition in Gütersloh and Germany's singing competition.
