Zoltán Nagy has been studying in Prof Laura Ruiz-Ferrere's classes at the University for Music and the Performing Arts in Frankfurt since 2020 after taking up the clarinet in his home town of Pécs. He has already gained a lot of orchestral experience: he's a regular guest with Hessen's Radio Symphony Orchestra and various youth orchestras in Hungary and Germany, and played solo with renowned orchestras including the Pannon Philharmonic in Pécs' Kodály Centre and the Hungarian Radio Symphony Orchestra in Budapest. He has also won many prizes in competitions, including 1st prizes at 2019 Daleki Akordi International Clarinet Competition and Femu's International Competition.
