Hyewon Cho
dancer
The South Korean dancer Hyewon Cho started learning to dance ballet when she was 10 at the ballet school in Ulsan, in the south east of her home country. Curious to find out more about the European dance scene she came to Germany and started studying for her bachelors at the HfMDK in Frankfurt in 2021. Since then she has danced in works choreographed by William Forsythe and worked with choreographers including Dieter Heitkamp, Regina van Berkel, Kristian Lever and Lucyina Zwolińska. Earlier this season she took part in JOIN, one of the Dresden Frankfurt Dance Company's projects. She is currently searching for creative opportunities to work with artists from different backgrounds, and is making her debut at Oper Frankfurt in the first revival of this production of Nielsen's Masquerade.
