Manon Jürgens was born in France. After studying the violin she joined Marie-Anne Losco’s singing classes at the Rainier III Music Academy in Monaco, gaining her bachelor in singing at the Haute Ecole des Arts du Rhin in Strasbourg under the guidance of Mélanie Moussay and Marie-Madeleine Koebelé, where she also sang roles including Noctilia/Queen of the Night in Franck Villard’s fairy tale opera L’enfant et la nuit and took part in Berlioz’ Les nuits d’été. Manon Jürgens worked intensively on modern music in Françoise Kubler’s singing classes. Last season she sang Dorabella at the Cosmopolis Festival (Kavala/Greece) and reached the finals of the Vivonne International Singing Competition. She was awarded a scholarship by the Wagner Verband Bayreuth in 2022 and studied for her masters in operatic singing at the University of Music and the Performing Arts in Mannheim, where forthcoming roles include Mrs. Nolan (The Medium) and 3rd Lady (Die Zauberflöte). She is making her debut at Oper Frankfurt in the world premiere of Žuraj’s Blühen in the Bockenheimer Depot.
