Californian born Lise Lindstrom is making her debut at Oper Frankfurt. This season you can hear her singing Brünnhilde again in Götterdämmerung at Oper Leipzig, the title role in Strauss’ Elektra a the Semperoper in Dresden and Salome at the Auditorio Nacional de Música in Madrid. She has sungTurandot at houses including the Gran Teatre del Liceu in Barcelona, the Met in New York, Royal Opera House Covent Garden in London, the Vienna and Bavarian state operas, La Scala Milan, the Seoul Arts Center, San Diego Opera and the Palau de les Arts in Valencia. Other recent highlights have included Salome at the Vienna State Opera and Opera Australia, Barber's Andromache’s Farewell with the Dallas Symphony Orchestra, the Dyer's Wife in Die Frau ohne Schatten with the Rotterdam Philharmonic Orchestra and at Hamburg State Opera, where she has also sung Brünnhilde in the Ring, Brünnhilde (Die Walküre) at the Teatro San Carlo in Naples and Marie (Wozzeck) at the Theater an der Wien. She studied at San Francisco State University and the San Francisco Conservatory of Music and was awarded the Green Room Award and Helpmann Award for Brünnhilde in her first Ring, at Opera Australia in 2016.
