Benjamin Felix Hee recently made his debut at Oper Frankfurt singing Giorgio in Rossini’s La gazza ladra. Born in Alzenau he started his vocal studies with the bass-baritone Friedemann Kunder before studying with Yoo-Chang Nah at Dr. Hoch’s Conservatoire in Frankfurt am Main and graduating with distinction. He has been studying with Thomas E. Bauer since 2021 and has taken part in masterclasses held by people including Prof. Klesie Kelly-Moog, Prof. Thomas Heyer and Prof. Thilo Dahlmann. Benjamin Felix Hee was awarded scholarships by the Dr. Hoch Conservatoire’s Patronatsverein (patrons), the Richard-Wagner-Verband Frankfurt and the Loge zur Einigkeit e. V. Engagements have taken him to places including the Staatstheater in Wiesbaden and Konzerthaus Blaibach and he has been involved as a soloist in various world premieres. He is passionate about Lieder singing, particularly works by Schubert.
