Roland Horn studied at the Conservatoire in Strasbourg with Jean Deplace and the University for Music in Heidelberg-Mannheim with Michael Flaksman and Roland Kuntze while he was still at school. Whilst a student at the Music Academy in Basel with Prof. Ivan Monighetti and the University for Music and the Performing Arts in Frankfurt with Prof. Michael Sanderling he appeared as a soloist in concert with orchestras including the New York Metropolitan Chamber Orchestra and Yalta Philharmonic. He has appeared several times in chamber music concerts at the International Chamber Music Festival in Bergen. After passing his final exams at the HfMDK he was solo cellist with the Koblenz Philharmonic from 2006-2007. He has been a member of the Frankfurt Opern- und Museumsorchester since 2008. He co-founded the Adorno Quartet and Frankfurt Piano.
