Anna Lapkovskaja studied at the University for Music and Theatre in Munich and  August Everding Bavarian Theatre Academy.  She made her debut at the Staatsoper Berlin in 2011, singing Mascha in Eötvös’ Tri sestry / Three Sisters. This was followed by a Lady Artist (Lulu), Floßhilde, Grimgerde and 1st Norn (Der Ring des Nibelungen), Dunja (Die Zarenbraut / The Tsar's Bride), Magdalene (Die Meistersinger von Nürnberg) and Varva (Katja Kabanowa). Future engagements include Verdi's Requiem and a Flower Maiden & Voice from on High (Parsifal) at the Bayerische Staatsoper in Munich, where she sang Sonjetka in Shostakovitch's Lady Macbeth von Mzensk in 2016. Anna Lapkovskaja made her operatic debut in 2010 at the Staatstheater in Nürnberg, where other roles have included Carmen. She sang at La Scala Milan and the BBC Proms for the first time in 2013 and sang  Floßhilde and 1st Norn at the 2015 Bayreuth Festival. During the 2018/19 season she made her debuts at theTeatro Colón, as Mascha, and Ópera Nacional de Chile, as Preziosilla (La forza del destino).
