The Danish tenor Peter Lodahl, who sang the role of Leukippos for the first time in 2014/15, at the Théâtre Royal de la Monnaie in Brussels, is appearing at Oper Frankfurt for the first time. He spent time under contract to Theater Kiel and the Komische Oper Berlin before joining the ensemble at the Royal Danish Opera in Copenhagen. He is regularly engaged to sing roles such as Tamino (Die Zauberflöte), Ferrando (Così fan tutte), Don Ottavio (Don Giovanni) and Alfredo (La traviata) at theatres including the Berlin, Dresden and Hamburg state operas,  Norske Opera in Oslo and Teatro Real in Madrid and in venues such as the Konzerthaus in  Berlin, the Musikverein in Vienna and the Salzburg Festival. This season he sings Rodolfo in a new production of La Bohème at the Stadttheater in Bern before returning to Copenhagen to sing King Erik in a new production of Peter Heise's Danish national opera Drot og Marsk
