New York born Susan Manoff works regularly with singers including Véronique Gens, Sandrine Piau and Patricia Petibon and chamber music musicians at leading concert halls and festivals around the world, including the Théâtre des Champs-Élysées and Théâtre du Châtelet in Paris, the Wigmore Hall in London, Concertgebouw Amsterdam, the Konzerthaus and Musikverein in Vienna and the Carnegie Hall in New York. She has made many recordings for Naïve, Decca, Virgin Classics, Arion, Valois and Aparte, including her first CD with the soprano Sandrine Piau (Evocation), which was followed by another, Après un Rêve, which was highly acclaimed by critics all over the world. This artist was deputy chorus master at the Opéra Bastille in Paris, where she is now a professor at the Conservatoire National de Musique et de Danse. The French ministry for the arts made her a »Chevalier des Arts et des Lettres« in 2011.
