Rouven Pabst

Rouven Pabst is back at Oper Frankfurt where productions he has danced in have included Die Lustige Witwe / The Merry Widow and Der Rosenkavalier (both with Claus Guth), Carmen, Iwan Sussanin and our recent staging of Tchaikovsky's Die Zauberin / The Sorceress, for this new Elektra. He gained his bachelors in contemporary and classic dance at the University for Music and the Performing Arts in Frankfurt in 2015. Whilst there he worked with people including William Forsythe, Regina van Berkel and Marguerite Donlon and was awarded a scholarship from the German People. He has appeared in many works as a free-lance dancer and performer, including Cabaret (Staatstheater Wiesbaden), Im weißen Rössl (Theater Heidelberg), Ariodante (Salzburg Festival) and Alcina (Zurich Opera / Théâtre des Champs-Élysées in Paris/ Opéra de Monte-Carlo - both directed by Christoph Loy - Alcina (Salzburg Festival/ Teatro del Maggio Musicale Fiorentino, director: Damiano Michieletto) and several dance productions by co>labs Nürnberg (run by Beate Höhn), Miriam Markl and the choreography duo Vlasova / Pawlica. He also works as an assistant choreographer and choreographer- most recently for Christian Weise's Wilhelm Tell at the National Theater in Mannheim.
