Joonhee Lee started assisting the Chorus Master at Oper Frankfurt this season, after holding the same post at Theater Bonn from 2022 - 2024. Born in Korea, where, while studying chorus direction and composition at the Korean National University of Arts, he worked as a coach at Dongguk University in the drama department.  He began studying for his bachelors in orchestral conducting at the University for Music and Theater in Rostock in 2019, before coachng at places including the  Volkstheater Rostock, Theater Vorpommern and the Theater in Dessau. Joonhee Lee has also conducted orchestras including the Mecklenburg Staatskapelle in Schwerin, the Vorpommern Philharmonic Orchestra and New Brandenburg Philharmonic.
