This Polish costume and fashion designer works all over the world in opera, drama and musicals. Now he is back at Oper Frankfurt, where he made his debut in 2016/17 with Eugene Onegin, for this very unusual double bill. He recently designed costumes for Arthur Miller's The Crucible and Williams’ The Glass Menagerie on Broadway, the world premiere of Dusapin's Penthesilea at the Théâtre Royal de la Monnaie in Brussels, Sweeney Todd at the Nederlandse Reisopera and Fidelio at the Erl Festival. He also designed the costumes for Ginastera's Bomarzo, Sotelo's El Público, Boris Godunov, The Conquest of Mexico, Lohengrin and the world premiere of Brokeback Mountain at the Teatro Real in Madrid. He works regularly with the directors Ivo van Hove, Pierre Audi, Katie Mitchell and Johan Simons. Future plans include Antony and Cleopatra at the National Theatre in London, Raskatov's GerMANIA for Opéra de Lyon and Stockhausen's Aus Licht/From Light for the Holland Festival. Wojciech Dziedzic studied at the Gerrit Rietveld Academy in Amsterdam and Central Saint Martin’s in London, where he has worked as a professor. He has been teaching fashion design at the School of Form in Posen since 2010.
