Film maker, script writer and video artist Christian Borchers lives in Vienna at the moment, working mostly in Germany and Austria. He worked as a professional photographer for various magazines and artists for more than 10 years. He is currently working at various theatres and opera houses with directors including Amélie Niermeyer and Ebru Tartici Borchers. He wrote the script for his first feature film Hopper - Das Ende der Sonne (Hopper – The End of the Sun), which reached the semi-final of the 2020 Cinequest Screenwriting Competion. He finished his second short filim 10-37 in late 2021. He is working at Oper Frankfurt for the first time on this new production of Tchaikovsky’s The Sorceress.
