This American bass-baritone has been a member of the Ensemble at Oper Frankfurt for three years, thrilling audiences with his acting, fascinating versatility and impeccable diction as Kreon (Oedipus Rex), Jochanaan (Salome), King Roger and Bluebeard. Highlights in 2022/23 included his highly acclaimed first Hans Sachs (in a new Die Meistersinger) and the title role in Don Giovanni. This winner of many international awards, scholarships and competitions is gradually expending his already quite staggeringly large repertoire to include Kaspar (Der Freischütz) at the Bayerische Staatsoper in Munich and Wotan (Das Rheingold) at Dallas Opera.
