This Armenian singer is a regular guest at leading opera houses around the world, including those in Munich, Berlin, Amsterdam, Vienna, London, Madrid, Rome, New York … Her expressive voice is ideal for lyric-dramatic roles including Donizetti’s Maria Stuarda, Massenet’s Manon and Bizet’s Leila (Les pêcheurs de perles), Verdi’s Traviata, Puccini’s Liù (Turandot) and Tchaikovsky’s Tatjana (Eugene Onegin). Leading directors including Claus Guth, Christof Loy and Ted Huffman value her powerful stage presence. High time that this prize winner at many leading competitions, including the 2013 Queen Sonja International Competition in Oslo and Plácido Domingo’s 2017 Operalia – came to Frankfurt! Accompanied by the Russian pianist Pavel Nebolsin, a soloists' coach at the Bolschoi in Moskau, who regularly accompanies singers including Anna Netrebko, singing Russian folksongs and Lieder by Tchaikovsky, Rachmaninov, Rimsky-Korsakov, Glière, Slonimski, Wlassow, Spendiarian and others.
