Vitality, warmth, a shining top and emotional depths – Christina Nilsson’s voice has everything necessary to seduce audiences' hearts. No surprise then that the young Swedish soprano appears at leading opera houses around the world including the Met in New York, Covent Garden in London, Zurich Opera and the Bayerische Staatsoper in Munich. Now she’s back at Oper Frankfurt, where she enjoyed great success with the title roles in Ariadne auf Naxos and Aida and Elisabeth in our wonderful production of Tannhäuser, for this recital with Magnus Svensson. Her repertoire includes Tosca, Elisabetta (Don Carlo), the Countess (Le nozze di Figaro) and Eva in Die Meistersingern von Nürnberg, which she sang at the 2025 Bayreuth Festival.
