The Persian/Canadian countertenor Cameron Shahbazi is one of the most exciting singers of his generation. His »individual and beautiful timbre« (De Trouw) lends itself equally to contemporary music and the baroque - testified by his recently singing Tolomeo in Giulio Cesare at the Netherlands Opera and in the world premiere of Picture a Day Like This at the Aix-en-Provence Festival. He appears in concert reguarly with leading orchestras including the Gürzenich and Stockhlm Royal Philharmonic Orchestra.
