Andrè Schuen (Baritone)
& Daniel Heide (piano)

Andrè Scheun's »wonderfully agile voice« (Gramophone) ensures that he is a regular guest at leading opera houses around the world including Covent Garden in London, the Vienna State Opera and Teatro Real de Madrid. Born in South Tirol he grew up tri-lingual and is an extremely versatile artist, singing Mozart and Wagner roles as effortlessly as Beethoven 9 or Mendelssohn’s Elijah. Lieder singing has always been close to his heart, appearing regularly in leading venues including the Schubertiade in Schwarzenberg, Konzerthaus in Vienna, Wigmore Hall in London and the Rheingau Music Festival with his accompanist of many years Daniel Heide. They received stunning reviews for their recordings of Schubert’s Schwanengesang and Die schöne Müllerin (Deutsche Grammophon) so their first concert in Frankfurt is something to really look forward to.
