American mezzo-soprano Ruby Dibble joins Oper Frankfurt's Opera Studio in the 2025/26 season, making her house debut as a Musician in Manon Lescaut, which is followed by Mercédès in Carmen and Isaura in a new production of Rossini's Tancredi. She studied at Oberlin College & Conservatory (Bachelor of Music), the Curtis Institute of Music (Master of Music) and the Juilliard School in New York, where she recently sang Sesto (La clemenza di Tito), Blanche de la Force (Dialogues des Carmélites) and appeared in recital at Carnegie Hall. Other roles in her repertoire include Prince Charming (Cendrillon), Dorabella (Così fan tutte), Marquise de Merteuil (Dangerous Liasons), Flora (La Traviata), Elle (La Voix Humaine) and Carmen (Bel Canto). She reached the finals of the 2024 Metropolitan Opera Laffont Competition, won the Annapolis Opera Vocal Competition and a prize at the 2023 Cooper-Bing Competition. She also took part in renowned summer programmes and festival, including those at the Glimmerglass Festival, the Carnegie Hall (SongStudio), the Aspen Music Festival, Wolf Trap Opera and the 2025 Merola Opera Program.
