Meghan Nenniger

Canadian violinist Meghan Nenniger gained early musical experience with Bill van der Sloot at Mount Royal Conservatory. After gaining her bachelors with Kathleen Winkler at Rice University she completed studying for her masters at the HMTM in Munich. She was deputy leader of the first violins at the Bayerische Staatsoper in Munich from 2016-2024, during which time she studied for her solo masters with Prof. Sebastian Hamann in Lucerne. She has often performed as a soloist with the National Arts Center Orchestra, the Lucerne Symphony Orchestra and Calgary Philharmonic. She can be heard on recordings of Henri Marteau’s String Quartet op. 9, released by Solo Musica in 2018, and chamber music by Johann Sebastian Bach, released by Raumklang in June 2024.
