Bernd Loebe, Intendant of Oper Frankfurt, was asked to run a workshop at the Warsaw Akademia Operowa in 2014. This academy, run by Teatr Wielki / Opera Narodowa (Polish National Opera) is similar to our Opera Studio, helping young artists develop their talents further. He and the Warsaw intendant Waldemar Dąbrowski hit upon the idea of putting on concerts in both institutes, enabling the young people in Frankfurt and Warsaw get to know each other better and work with teachers in both countries.
The fifth concert in this series takes place at 7pm on June 10 in Oper Frankfurt's Holzfoyer.
Information will appear here nearer the time about the programme and who will be taking part from the Akademia Operowa and Frankfurt's Opera Studio.
