Kelsey Lauritano’s many roles as a member of our Ensemble come alive with her stage presence. Last season she thrilled audiences with Dorabella in a new production of Così fan tutte, following on from her wonderful portrayal of Cherubino in the recent new Le nozze di Figaro, Mercédès and Hannah in revivals of Carmen and Weinberg’s The (female) Passenger. She captivates audiences with her disarming emotional intensity. Her repertoire ranges from the baroque to contemporary and she recently enjoyed international success at Zurich Opera and the Bayerische Staatsoper in Munich, and as Prince Orlofsky at the Opera Theatre of Saint Louis, in Gala concerts, featuring classics from Metro Goldwyn Mayer musicals.
