Tamara Wilson is back at Oper Frankfurt, where she made her triumphant debut in Germany in 2011 with concert performances of Wagner‘s Die Feen / The Fairies , which was followed by a wonderful portrayal of the Empress in Die Frau ohne Schatten (Get both CDs! - OehmsClassics), Elisabeth de Valois in Don Carlo and in recital, to sing Lady Macbeth in this new production of Macbeth. This prize winning, including the 2016 Richard Tucker Award, American soprano started her career as a member of Houston Grand Opera's Opera Studio, and now appears at leading opera houses around the world.  She made her debut at the Met in New York with Aida, which was followed by Elsa in Lohengrin, she appeared at the Gran Teatre del Liceu in Barcelona as Norma and Leonore (Fidelio), which she recently sang in Paris, London and with the Los Angeles Philharmonic Orchestra under Gustavo Dudamel. The title role in Bellini's Beatrice di Tenda at the Opéra national de Paris was followed by Turandot. She sang Ariadne at La Scala Milan and the Bayerische Staatsoper in Munich, Leonora (La forza del destino) at English National Opera, Amelia (Un ballo in maschera) at the Deutsche Oper Berlin, Tosca at Houston Grand Opera and Isolde for Santa Fe Opera. She sang Brünnhilde in concert performances of Die Walküre last May under Yannick Nézé-Ségin in Paris, Rotterdam and Dortmund and Elettra in Idomeneo at the  Ravinia Festival under James Conlon in August. Plans include Vitellia in La clemenza di Tito in Washington, Elisabeth in Tannhäuser in Houston and Brünnhilde in Santa Fe.
