Johanna Berger

Johanna Berger studied contemporary and classical dance before graduating from the University for Music and the Performing Arts in Frankfurt, since when she has danced for companies including Oper Frankfurt, das Aalto Theater Essen, the Donlon Dance Company at Saarländ's Staatstheater in Saarbrücken and Theater Heidelberg, where she took part in the world premiere of Johann Kresnik's Sammlung Prinzhorn. Kresnik's Choreography Theatre Sylvia Plath took her to the Staatstheater in Darmstadt, where she joined the dance theatre ensemble for the 2013/14 season. Other guest engagements have included productions at Baden's Staatstheater in Karlsruhe and Theater Erfurt, where she danced Amor in Gluck's Orpheus und Eurydike, in Hercules and West Side Story.
