Daniela Braun was born in Potsdam and studied the violin in Berlin with Antje Weithaas and string quartet playing with Eberhard Feltz. She's passionate about chamber music, early and contemporary music, plays in piano trios (Max Brod Trio) and church music and loves crossing the boundaries between genres, picking up her baroque violin, viola, singing saw and she sings too. She, the bandonion and double bass players Per Arne Glorvigen and Arnulf Ballhorn formed the Glorvigen Trio in 2011. After five years with the Staatskapelle at the Staatsoper Unter den Linden in Berlin Daniela moved to the Komische Oper Berlin in 2011, as deputy leader of the 2nd violins.
